The school has scheduled the third and fourth power outage inspections for high-voltage power equipment in all campuses, excluding An-nan and Gui-ren campuses, on June 2 (Sunday) and June 9 (Sunday), 2024, from 8:00 to 18:00

To conduct annual electrical equipment replacement and inspection for the entire campus. The school has scheduled the third and fourth power outage inspections for high-voltage power equipment in all campuses, excluding An-nan and Gui-ren campuses, on June 2 (Sunday) and June 9 (Sunday), 2024, from 8:00 to 18:00. There will be a power outage in different areas. During the power outage, all units are requested to cooperate with the school's measures.

  1. The first and second power outage inspection of high-voltage power equipment this year was completed on February 25 and April 21, 2024, respectively. The third inspection is scheduled for June 2, 2024 (Sunday), from 8:00 to 18:00, resulting in a comprehensive power outage across all campuses of the main school. The fourth inspection is scheduled for June 9, 2024 (Sunday), from 8:00 to 18:00, power outage at the Kuang-Fu campus (Chung Cheng Gym, Department of Accountancy, College of Management and Student Activity Center are on different power circuits and are still supplied with electricity).

2. Please refer to the attachment (National Cheng Kung University 2024 High-Voltage Power Equipment Power Outage Inspection and Maintenance Work Plan) for the time and scope of the 3rd, and 4th power outages this year. If the inspection and maintenance items are completed earlier or later on that day, the power will be restored earlier or later without further notice.

 3. Please inform Mr. Mao (ext. 50652) in advance if there is any construction work during the power outage to prevent accidents. On the day of power outage, please close the elevator and prohibit people from riding it.

4. Before the power outage, please shut down the equipment to avoid damage when the power is restored; after the power is restored, please assign personnel to inspect whether the internal power supply is normal. If you have any questions after the power is restored, please contact the 69KV high voltage duty room at 63066 or 63060.

5. On the day of the power outage, please assign staff to assist with gate opening to facilitate the maintenance work of each substation. Prior to the outage, please ensure the steel roller doors, electric locks and electric doors are open to prevent difficulty entering or exiting during the power outage. During the power outage, access control will be unavailable, so please plan accordingly.

6. The Computer and Network Center should be aware of the impact of network disruptions caused by power outages in the server rooms on each campus.

7. About the ATMs located on each campus, the Management Service Division should inform the post office, bank and other off-campus tenant units to assign their own staff to deal with the power outage and restoration.

8. If any events or activities are scheduled on the day of the power outage, please plan alternative arrangements in advance or reschedule them for another date.
